“Dear Mr. Thanos,

This winter you totally renovated our large condo. We are extremely pleased with the results. After considering the alternatives, we decided to totally gut our entire two bedroom plus study and two and half bathroom apartment.

Once we signed the contract, you promptly proceeded with the demolition work. Then your work included laying new hardwood flooring and carpet throughout, extensively remodeling a bathroom, configuring the kitchen around an island and installing everything new, redoing a guest bathroom, powder room, and laundry room, rewiring some electrical switches and outlets, installing many fixtures and lights, patching a million holes in the drywall and painting all walls, trims and ceilings.

All the people you engaged seemed very capable. The stone mason did a great job with the tiles and the plumbing is neat. The painters, Abraham and his brother, were especially impressive. You were on top of all of them and perfectly planned the logistics.

Above all you were a pleasure to work with. Every request met with a positive response. Nothing was too much; we always found an agreeable solution. You clearly took pride in delivering a professional result.

You finished totally within budget and on time.

We could not have chosen a better contractor.

Before you left I didn’t get a chance to tell you how much I love the deck. I know Jerry has told you in several ways how happy he is with the work, and I wanted to add my comments, as well.

First, it looks great! I could not have asked for a better job. Your attention to detail and your carpentry skills are in evidence everywhere. I honestly believe your work has increased the re-sale value of our home. Second, I really appreciate the way you kept the work area as clean and neat as possible while the construction was in progress. The crew you used from time to time were so polite and considerate. And I have to add that you were terrific with the dogs… you never seemed to mind that they can be real pests!

“Ted Thanos is a wonderful contractor that I have used many times over the past 18 years. Originally introduced to me by an associate at Home Depot when I asked who was the best person they could recommend for the 33 Pella windows I had just purchased for the home I was remodeling. He did a superb job; so much so that I expanded the scope of his work to a deck with an unusual herringbone railing and a staircase with multiple landings down to the patio and then a large built in bookcase in my family room.
His most recent tasks is a granite bar top and counters and a new ceiling in a sitting room off the bar. I have recommended Ted over the years to family and friends with no reservations.”
